Getting Started
To use Gemini for AI features, you'll need a free API key from Google.
- Visit Google AI Studio
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click "Create API Key"
- Copy the key and paste it above
No API key?
If you have Ollama installed locally, you can use the app without a Gemini key. Ollama runs LLMs locally on your machine.
Your API key is stored securely in your operating system's keychain and never leaves your device (except when making requests to Google's API).
